A user friendly dashboard from Unacast showing progress in social distancing across the country reveals some interesting patterns in Minnesota. Minnesota moved slightly upwards to a C+ but Ramsey County and Hennepin County showed a decline in progress achieved. There were no counties with an “F” status in the latest report. Few more counties achieved the “A” status than before.
What is reflected in the dashboard can also be observed – people moving around more in the metro area pushing the boundaries of social distancing.
The dashboard tracks three measures, change in average mobility based on distance traveled, change in non essential visits and difference in encounter density. We can view progress across Minnesota.
