The Federal Reserve Bank of Saint Louis provides good data on percentage of low and high risk for unemployment by state and metropolitan statistical areas. One can download their data table and article here. They also present a list of low risk and high risk unemployment occupations.

For Minnesota, they estimate 45 percent of jobs are in the high unemployment risk sectors (food prep and service, sales, production and services (installation repair are major areas).

For the Twin Cities MSA it is 43 percent in the high unemployment risk sectors. For non metro areas of Minnesota, the rate is higher at 52 percent.
